This basket has been hand woven by highly skilled women artisans in Rwenzori mountains of eastern Uganda. Millet stalks and raffia palm are woven to create this intricate, tightly woven masterpiece. The baskets are naturally dyed with flowers, roots, leaves, and lichens.

This is a functional piece of art, which is safe to use with food. It can be the center of attention on your table, hold fresh fruit or bread, or decorate a wall or shelf.
